Soccer - Fall 2010

Well we started another soccer season!  We had a great first game and the girls won 10 - 1.  Mackenzie did an awesome job, scored 3 or 4 goals, and helped pass the ball too... (although the look on her face after having to pass was not a happy one.)

You can still hear her on the field yelling "Your going the wrong way, turn it around!"

And So It Begins....

So our big girl is now a Kingdergardener!!!  A few weeks ago she had her pre school graduation and we were very proud parents :)  Kenzie was "selected" (long story) to be the MC for the night which  included saying the pledge and introducing all the songs and she did an amazing job.  You always hear the saying that time flies, but seriously, she's already in kindergarden??  Seems just like yesterday she was in diapers and starting to talk...so here starts the road to homework procrastination, curfews, and whole lot of "but that's not fair, her parents let her." But I say bring it on, because she's an amazing, intelligent, and beautifual person inside and out.  We're so lucky to have such a special little girl.  We love you, Kenzie!!!

Here are pictures from Kenzie's soccer games.  Thanks for taking them mom!  She is super competative (not sure where she gets that from).  Some of my favorite moments of coaching the team this year was when Kenzie would get really into the game.  You could just see it in her eyes that she does not like losing.  I love how competative she got, but at times it was a little embarrasing as she would yell "You want a piece of this!".

Eventually we had to talk about passing and how its good to not take the ball from your teammates!

Sunny Days

Well Colorado finally joined Spring Time.  We had some nice sun yesterday and decided it was a good time to wash the car.  Kenize did an excellent job.  Her comment to anything that she can do is "Dad, I can do this.  Even it's Easy"

She didn't want to stop at just washing the car, she also wanted to do the spraying...

Well that lasted about a minute and then she got an idea that she could spray things other than the car.  So needless to say we were both quite wet after we got done.  I think we might have been cleaner than the car!.

Easter 2010

As much as we love that previous post, i thought we could use another one.  Here are some pictures from Easter this year.

Kenize left out some carrots for the easter bunny in case he got hungry hoping from house to house.  Notice the blur, this is not out of focus... just how fast we were moving!
